Setup Guide: AvePoint Teams Chat Backup​

Step 1: Configure and Grant Permissions for a Custom Azure App​

  1. Create a Custom Azure App.

  2. Grant the required permissions to the created Custom App.

Step 2: Create a Custom App Profile in AvePoint Online Services​

  1. Create a Custom App Profile.

  2. Fill in the necessary fields based on the Custom Azure App you configured:

    FieldDescription
    App Profile NameEnter a name for the profile
    Application IDFound in the Custom Azure App Overview in Azure AD (App Registration or Enterprise Apps)
    Certificate FileUpload the .pfx file created with the certificate
    Certificate PasswordEnter the password assigned to the certificate
